So today the Chargers came out with a HUGE win beating the Kansas City Chiefs. Until about 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter the Chargers were going to hold on to another disappointing loss against a terrible football team. The Chargers scored on a late touchdown and missed the two point conversion. That put them down 21-16. They needed a BIG onside kick recovery and...THEY GOT IT. A huge hit by a few Charger players released the ball from Bowe's hands.
With a Charger recovery, they move down the field pretty fast, but also eating up a lot of clock. They got their touchdown and were up 22-21 after another failed 2-pt conversion. So it was up to the defense to take the Chargers to a win. It came down to a field goal with 2 seconds left, and the Chiefs missed the field goal. CHARGERS WON!
Happy day, it wasnt the prettiest way to win but it worked. We have two more tough tests for our own team. Chargers have a road game in Tampa Bay against a Bucs team that HAS to win as well to get into the playoffs. They are coming off a loss today against the Falcons in overtime. The Bucs are going to come out with everything possible to take down the Chargers. If Rivers and Tomlinson as well as a shaky inconsistent defense all show up looking for a playoff opportunity, then we can beat the Bucs and hope for a Broncos loss to the Bills. That will be another big hill for the Chargers, if they can beat the Bucs and the Broncos lose to the Bills then we just have to beat the Broncos to get into the playoffs. It may sound like its not possible at all, but it is possible and there are always miracles that occur.
LETS GO CHARGERS

CHARGERS: Hopes For Playoff Have All But Been Schott Down
WELL HERE IT IS THE SAD TALE OF A TEAM DESTINED FOR A THEIR FIRST SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONSHIP IN 2008 AND YET IT WONT HAPPEN.
The Chargers have to go 3-0 their last 3 games (Chiefs, Bucs, and Broncos) to make the playoffs. While I believe they have a chance to do this, maybe beat the Bucs, the one problem that lies in their path is the BRONCOS. The Broncos have 3 games left to be played in which they need to go 0-3. Next week's match for them is the Panthers. I believe the Panthers are better than the Broncos and will beat them. The next game following the Panthers will be the, (insert shaking of head and laughter), Buffalo Bills. The team the Chargers lost too and the following games which the Bills have gone...1-6 OUCH!
Now I will be praying, fasting, and burning whatever candles I have to make sure the Bills beat the Broncos. Because I know, I know, the next week the Chargers will be in ready form to beat the Pony's! After Hochalee-Hockalei-Hawkalee, whatever, the call the ref made which should have ensured a Charger victory, I know the Chargers want payback!
Last year's match up between them at Qualcomm brought out the toughness and side of Philip Rivers that nobody had ever seen. It was awesome, all the taunting going on between Rivers and the Broncos.
ALthouh, it has been a disappointing season for us Bolts fans, the fact is if we can beat the Broncos, like the Padres beat the Dodgers in '96 - moment of silence for Ken Caminiti- then it will be one of the greatest victories of Chargers history. If we cannot make it past them some things need to happen.
1. Fire Norv Turner
2. Fire staff members who have let Chargers talent slide
3. Institute a whole new agenda for players to play to the best of their ability
4. Provide a defense that can keep the aerial attack under wraps
5. Add new players to offense - i.e. offensive line, fullback, and wide receiever
6. Help LaDainian Tolinson get his ring! This guy has busted his butt for the team for so many years and deserves a ring, just like Gwynn on the Pads deserved a world series ring
7. Hire me to be an entry-level marketing and events coordinator
The Chargers are too talented to let the next season be a waste. They only have a season or two left in this dream team til players will start to leave. But I believe they can continue to make the right moves to keep this team first in the West and in the AFC. I mean really look where the Chiefs are and the Raiders. And the Broncos dont really have that Elway type team.
GO CHARGERS!

How Do You Write The Perfect Song?
I've been looking at blogs on country music, songwriting, and looking at various artists songwriting techniques. So how do you write the perfect song? Obviously, a song is personal to the writer, the reader, and when composed, the listener.
But in a the current musical radio play such as Top 40 or even in country music 'POP COUNTRY', how do you write a song that extends to the masses? I'm studying the right way to compose a song, but everyone has their own way of telling their story or a story that affects them.
I once heard Justin Timberlake talk about writing "Losing My Way" after he saw the show Intervention on A & E. As well his song, "What Goes Around (Comes Around)" was a song he wrote about his friend who was dating Elisha Cuthbert. Apparently, Cuthbert had cheated on his friend with one of his friends, but he took that experience and made it connect with his own experinences as well as hsi fan base.
In my own experiences with life, I look at every aspect in terms of what genre I am writing for. When I am writing for POP/R&B Club jams or MJ'esque songs, I try to take the experiences of the city life and apply it to the song. When it comes to country-folk-style songs, I try to take experiences from myself and others by reading blogs, magazines, newspapers, or talking to people directly about their life.
For instance, when I was driving home from Provo, Utah this last August I stopped off in Yermo, Calif. to get gas and I was basically at the bottom of the barrell in terms of money and just my situation in life. When I was pumping my gas I noticed a guy searching through trash cans for cans to get money. I had a load of change and decided to give him the change as well as some food I had. I talked to him for a sec or two about his life and we were off our separate ways. But I took from that experience and searched my soul of how we could be in a similar situation in terms of money, but different where we were in life. I took from that experience and tried to write according to that.

Keeps me Awake - Writing Lyrics
So I been writing a lot lately cause its my time to really get in touch of what I'm feeling and how I'm feeling. Also, writing lyrics help me understand other friends around me. So when i'm stuck in a crazy position in my life, everything is good, or just want to be somewhere but my current place of residence...I float away to the world of my mind or my view of someone else life.
I've been really into live concerts lately and motown music. At least learning about the lives of some of the greatest writers of old rhythm and blues. Man there is so much history and I love learning about their inspirations for music. I've been very infatuated with the life of Marvin Gaye and Sam Cooke, both very good artists of the 60's and 70's.
With these arists there always seems to be some reoccuring theme of pain and happiness, bitter and sweet, and failure then triumph. I been listening to some great lyricysts to like Common and this new artist, Young Dre who knows how to lay lyrics in the right places. Luckily, I have somoene like my roommate tyson stevens, who produces for love you long time, who helps me with melodies to my lyrics.
One of the ways in which I gain inspiration, is through staying up til 3 am and writing. Most of my songs are completed in the hours of the morning, which sometimes sucks with work and what not. Another way is going to Barnes & Noble and readin through magazines about artists and there inspirations.
Thats about that for what keeps me alive lately.

Dance: The Rhythm of My Life
Dance its the rhythm of my life
My only air to breathe
Like butter on my knife
I spread it even after my death
So I been watching a lot of these dance shows on TV that are showing hip hop in a better light. I love that true hip hop culture is being shown. But there is still an underground that is keeping to its roots.
It's been so great to see events around Rexburg and Provo do so well the last few years of dance battling. People are accepting hip-hop culture more. I believe this is do to the true nature of what hip-hop culture really is. The releasing of one's inner self and the true of nature of what your to become. Whether its art, whether its on the mic, whether its writing, or whether its on the floor...the true essence of hip-hop thrives and progresses with the individual as the individual progresses in his/her own life.
It doesn't even have to be hip-hop it can be anything that provides postivity and good for the world. Start with the man in the mirror this morning and look at yourself at the end of everyday, what did you accomplish and what can you do better.
LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE, BECAUSE WHEN YOU DO YOU UNCONSCIOUSLY GIVE OTHERS PERMISSION TO DO THE SAME!

PADRES...PADRES...PADRES...EHHHH
Man, I am so fumed right now! I love my baseball and I love it when it's played well. But I have to tell ya that my San Diego Padres are playing about as good as my 2nd Little League team when the ice cream man makes circles around the parking lot during the middle of the game.
So they can't hit and their pitching has been up and down, especially the 'great' bullpen that includes future Hall of Famer - Trevor Hoffman...who as I write this has blown another save opportunity. It would be nice to see some consistency from the hitters, but of course we have hardly any power and we can't even get 10 hits in a game, better yet 2 games!
This has gotta change!

Earth 2 Earth....Wake Up!
Recently, I have traveled back to Rexburg, Idaho to start my new life after college. The life of a college graduate is so.......nice....for 2 days, then reality hits! Bills, jobs, growing up, and not growing up! Anyways I went home for a week to enjoy San Diego sunshine, eats, and sunshine!
Anyways, one of my favorite things to do is listen to AM talk radio whether it be politics, sports, or shock jocks...I LOVE IT! I loved listening to Jim Rome, XX1090 (especially Padre games), and conservative talk shows. But I couldnt find Glenn Beck, I needed Glenn in California. Now that I am back in Idaho, I can listen everyday to someone who truly understands what this country and the world need to do so that we don't run ourselves into the ground.
Glenn has been talking about all the issues we face in America and in the world, yet liberal, left-wing media only cares to talk on Hilary and Obama. It's ridiculous that the media would love to communicate about the falsities of global warming yet they won't communicate the important issues such as America importing wheat, Japan without butter, Saudi Arabia on its last oil reserve, our future economy that will hit recession, the truth about global warming, and Mexico losing much of its oil production. People are buying wheat and flour because we have decided to grow corn for ethanol instead! Which has increased prices of milk, and other food products. Japan recently ran out of butter because cows had been dying off due to a disease in Japan. THERE IS NO BUTTER IN JAPAN! WOW!
Not just that but many people in Mexico, India, and Africa are starving because they are in shortage of wheat. This is, once again, due to the fact that we are getting rid of more wheat because the conspiracy known as global warming has swept America. Apparently, us Americans want to save the trees and ocean and animals more than we want to eat or provide food for those less fortunate in other countries. Man, we really have been deceived as a country to believe that if we forgoe growing the essential things to LIVE IN LIFE, to save polar bears, save gas, save money, then we really have lost out on the purpose of life.
I hope everybody has their food storage because we are going to need it! Seriously, if you haven't had the chance of listening to Glenn Beck, he really looks at politics and life in general in a very real sense. He is a sick twisted freak. BE PREPARED!
